The show includes photography, 2D digital art, video art, interactive art, drawings, paintings, sculptures, installation art, environmental art, and activist art that address issues such as life, environment, politics, welfare, air pollution, particulate matter, radioactive contamination, welfare, health, and the Covid-19 pandemic.

“I can’t…” The work has multiple interpretations. Issues within social environments as an individual. Isolation, mental disorders, political, religious, economic issues, and oppression. It can take your breath away. But it also contains an autobiographical component with regard to my mental disorders and hearing problems in the context of my social environment.

NNOI 9 #

My latest sound art creation 9 X MA premieres at

NNOI 9 #

19-21 July 2024,

NNOI is open air festival focusing on sound, sound art, electronic and experimental music other “obscure teachings”

NNOI, will take place in Zernikow and the surrounding area in the Neuruppiner Land in the State of Brandenburg, Germany . The historical Prussian, belt ensemble with a manor house, church, distillery, barns, mill, surrounded by a stream and extensive forest in a landscape conservation area . On the occasion of the 9th edition the festival want to deal with the mythical number NINE. The highest, therefore perfect single-digit number is deeply charged with symbolism, customs and associations. Whether the number of lives of a cat, Dante's circles of hell, the curse of the Ninth Symphony, dragons, muses or names for flora and fauna, NOIN9 can in-spire omnipresent.

9 x MA. The piece was created for this year's NNOI 9 # festival theme. In this work there are nine points that interrupt the generally monographic flow of sound. The sound of these 9 highlights has nothing in common with the rest of the constant flow of the basic sound. The sound is similar to hitting two bamboo sticks or hitting a hollow wooden vessel with a wooden stick. The concept of this sound piece is based on the Japanese philosophy of MA. With MA, the Japanese describe the intentional distance created by a short pause between actions or by the empty space between objects. A distance that is not emptiness or lost time, but represents a special connection. The Japanese concept of Ma is something that relates to all aspects of life. It has been described as a pause in time, an interval or emptiness in space. Ma is the fundamental time and space from which life needs to grow. Space for the Japanese psyche directly impacts the individual’s progress. These principles are universal, when applied effectively they enhance the way one thinks and how one engages with one’s surroundings.

Artists have always expressed themselves politically with their work, using art as a mouthpiece, in all eras and genres. Be it in the visual arts, music, performing arts or literature. Art offers possibilities that are not available in a rational or purely argumentative discussion of politics.
